The Production Committee is excited to announce that we are gearing up for Newtowne’s 23rd season (2026/2027)! We will be seeking directors and talented production team members for our upcoming shows. Please check out our past season's “Short List” of potential productions below!

Directors

As we select our 23rd season lineup, we will consider each candidate's past theater experience, detailed vision for the show, familiarity with the script, technical and casting insights, and the availability of rights. It is the policy of the Newtowne Players that all director candidates have previously Assistant Directed a show at NTP or have directed in the community where NTP leadership was able to see their work.

​If you're interested in directing one of these shows in our shortlist, we invite you to complete the Director's Packet, which outlines your creative vision for the production(s) you wish to lead.

Production Team

If directing isn’t your primary focus but you’d still like to be involved in the creative process, we welcome you to join our team in various capacities. Positions like producer, set designer, assistant director, music director, stage manager, and many more are available!

Additionally, if you're eager to gain directorial experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment by participating in one of the many roles listed above.
